  Featherstone cottage was one of the nicest places I have ever visited and found it an absolute pleasure to stay at. The moment you step through the door you immediately feel warmth that stays with you the whole time. Beautifully decorated and very clean it is a a home you never want to leave. The bedrooms are clean and extremely comfortable the sheets on the bed are so soft most morning I didn’t want to leave my bed. Anything you could need during your stay can be found and there was even a lovely book to read about the cottage telling you a history of the cottage and the area, there was also a handy guide to walks in the area that past guests had written in. I cant thank the owners enough for what they had done for us we had visited as a treat for my grandparents as it was there 50th wedding anniversary and they so kindly sent them a card and left them some treats when we arrived. Featherstone cottage is an absolute pleasure to stay at its full of charm and care that you can see all around you I cannot recommended it enough I just hope that I sometime have a chance to visit again.
